Hafal awarded funding to help young people with serious mental illness

Welsh mental health charity Hafal has been awarded £154,131.00 by the Big Lottery Fund’s “People and Places – investing in your community” scheme.
The award, which covers a three-year period, will enable Hafal’s Information Hub to provide a service catering for young people aged 11-25 with serious mental illness.

Sinderela yn yr Eisteddfod!

Bydd ymwelwyr i’r Eisteddfod Genedlaethol eleni yn cael cyfle unigryw i ddysgu am wasanaethau iechyd meddwl yng Nghymru drwy gwrdd â’r ffigwr tylwyth teg enwog Sinderela ar stondin yr elusen iechyd meddwl Hafal.

Bydd ymwelwyr â’r Sioe Frenhinol eleni yn cael cyfle unigryw i ddysgu mwy am y gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl yng Nghymru drwy gyfarfod y cymeriad o’r stori ledrithiol enwog, Sinderela, yn stondin Hafal, yr elusen iechyd meddwl.

Ymwybyddiaeth Iechyd Corfforol Cenedlaethol Hafal

Daeth chwaraewyr tîm rygbi’r Gweilch i Ddiwrnod Ymwybyddiaeth Iechyd Meddwl Cenedlaethol Hafal yng Nghastell-nedd ddoe (9fed o Orffennaf) i gymryd rhan yn y gystadleuaeth tynnu rhaff ac i gyflwyno medalau i’r enillwyr. Cafodd cleientiaid o bob rhan o Gymru gyfle i gymryd rhan mewn nifer o chwaraeon, gan gynnwys taflu’r weli, rasio ceffylau, Tai Chi, pêl-droed, pêl-foli a bowls.

Ospreys attend National Physical Health Awareness Day

Ospreys players attended the Hafal National Physical Health Awareness Day in Neath yesterday (9th July) to take part in the tug-of-war and award winners with medals. Clients from across Wales got the opportunity to take part in a number of sports including welly wanging, horse racing, Tai Chi, football, volleyball and boules.
