This summer Gareth Jones will be walking Llwybr Clawdd Offa – or the Offa’s Dyke Path – in order to raise money for Hafal’s vital work across Wales.
Ahead of his 180-mile challenge, Gareth said: “Mental health affected me greatly when a good friend died last year and I saw the shattering effect it had on his family and friends.
“I decided to challenge myself to walk the 180-mile Offa’s Dyke Path, not only to raise money for Hafal but also to highlight the important work they do in helping those with serious mental illness and their carers.”
Gareth hopes to walk the huge 180 miles of the Path, although lockdown restrictions may well result in a postponement or, if he’s unable to walk the actual Offa’s Dyke Path, Gareth will still cover the distance locally or on a treadmill.
A huge THANK YOU and GOOD LUCK Gareth from all of Hafal’s Members!
