Schizophrenia awareness Training

Aim of this session:

To improve the understanding of schizophrenia and consider practical issues for staff

engaging with this client group.

Objectives:

·         To discuss and understand the presentation, symptoms and treatment of schizophrenia

·         To discuss the various ways in which service users are able to manage the illness and how they may be supported

·         To hear how service users experience and manage the illness.
