Bipolar Awareness Training

Aim of this session:

To improve the understanding of bipolar disorder and consider practical issues for staff

engaging with this client group.

Objectives:

  • To discuss and understand the presentation, symptoms and treatment of bipolar disorder.
  • To discuss the various ways in which service users are able to manage the illness.
  • To hear how service users experience the illness and how they use different self

management techniques.
