The following is a presentation given by Hafal Chair Dr Elin Jones on International Women’s Day, 8th March 2018, at the conference organised by the Centre for Gender Studies at the University of South Wales and Archif Menywod Cymru/Women’s Archive of Wales to celebrate the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, 1918, and to commemorate the life of the historian Dr Ursula Masson.

Here’s the first vlog from Communications apprentice Declan Terry who will be introducing Hafal’s services and latest activities in a forthcoming series of podcasts and vlogs. This vlog is about ‘Clic’, Hafal’s supportive online community. Declan speaks to Clic Coordinator Dave Vice about what Clic is and how you can sign up and get involved. Dave also talks us through the Clic website, showing us some of its great features. Stay tuned for more vlogs!

Here our vlogger Declan pays a visit to Grant who is refurbishing Hafal’s classic camper van. Grant reveals how the work has progressed, what else needs doing, and talks to us about the origins of our fantastic 21-window Volkswagen Samba!

Here is a Welsh-language presentation from Hafal Chair Dr Elin Jones at the Tithe Barn, Abergavenny on 21st May. Over 30 guests came to listen to Elin’s talk on the centenary of the Representation of the People Act 1918, and to commemorate the life of the historian Dr Ursula Masson.
