Taking the Wheel - What Users Want

This report summarises the feedback received during the 2011 service user-led "Taking the Wheel" campaign. The campaign was run by people with serious mental illness and service user led organisations Hafal and MDF the Bipolar Organisation Cymru worked in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation to support the campaign.

This guide gives you tips on how to move forward when you have a mental illness.

 12 Lives
In collaboration with the Mental Health Foundation and MDF The Bipolar Organisation Cymru, Hafal has produced a publication which features 12 people talking very openly about their experience of serious mental illness. 12 Lives also features a methodical care planning approach to recovery which reflects the achievements of the people in 12Lives and which is based on the experiences of over 500 people with serious mental illness supported by Hafal.
