Hafal's work across the 22 counties of Wales will be showcased at the charity's "We Can Do It!" autumn conference which takes place in Builth Wells on November 12th.

Visitors to the conference will have the opportunity to take part in "A Tour Around Wales" by visiting 22 interactive exhibition stands showcasing the wide range of work undertaken by Wales' principal charity for people with serious mental illness and their carers.

A number of seminars and workshops will take place throughout the day including:

• Employment and benefits: how to get a fair deal on employments and benefits for people with a serious mental illness
• Criminal Justice: how to assist people with a serious mental illness who get caught up in the criminal justice system.
• Education and training: how to ensure equal access to learning.
• Users' rally: an opportunity to give views on the coming year's campaigning and key mental health issues.

Two hundred delegates have been booked to attend the conference and visitors will also be able to talk to Hafal's Learning Centre staff about opportunities for learning; enjoy tea and coffee in the Hafal Network Café; take part in Tai Chi taster sessions and give free rein to their artistic flair in an Art Anarchy exercise.
