Hafal is taking part in a very exciting project with the largest independent healthcare ad agency in the UK, Langland.

Every year Langland donates a proportion of its profits to healthcare charities based in the UK and internationally. As well as offering actual hard cash, the agency also provides their skills and expertise on a pro bono basis.

One specific example this year of the agency's charitable work is the sponsorship of a film for Hafal aimed at reducing the stigma attached to serious mental illness, focusing on young people of student age.

Langland decided to make the film, to be premiered on World Mental Health Day 2009, in conjunction with the National Film and Television School (NFTS).

Students at the school will soon be briefed about the project with the author of the best script receiving the funding to make the film about breaking through the wall of stigma.

To get the project moving NFTS students need your help. They want to read your stories and views about serious mental illness so they can fully grasp and be inspired by the subject.
