Gellinudd – Information for Guests

When you become a Guest at Gellinudd Recovery Centre you can expect a very warm welcome.

Our service will be sensitive to your individual needs. You will have your own room which you can tailor to your own tastes, plus you will have your own en-suite bathroom.

The Centre is focused on providing what you need to recover. You are empowered to make choices about what you want to achieve – and what steps you are going to take towards your goals in all areas of life.

As a Guest you can take part in a wide range of activities: we have a gym, a multi-faith room, a café and log cabins in the surrounding woods! You can enjoy music and art activities, you can study for an NVQ and Agored-accredited qualifications, and you can take part in outdoor sports, biking and walking on the Gower coast, Brecon Beacons, Afan Forest Park and the Mumbles.

We also provide a warm welcome for visiting family and carers, with a playground and family room provided.

Like all of Hafal’s services, Gellinudd Recovery Centre is led by the people who use it. So you can have your say on how the Centre is run and developed, and you can help shape the service for Guests who will visit in the future. The Centre is staffed by both registered mental health nurses and registered general nurses so that both your mental and physical healthcare is fully catered for. The Centre is also supported by physiotherapy, psychological therapy and other services.

If you would like to see the Centre, please contact us and arrange to come and meet our staff and Guests.
