Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team completes ‘Snowby’ challenge for Hafal!

The Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Team recently completed their second annual ‘Snowby’ challenge to raise money for Hafal.

From the 9th– 12th June, PCSOs Andrew Griffiths, Geraint Lewis, Craig Thomas, Jim Moffat and Graham Kendall cycled from Snowdon all the way down to Tenby, covering an impressive 200 miles in just three days!

They finished at Hafal’s Tenby Resource Centre which has recently celebrated its 20th birthday. Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane and Hafal Chair Elin Jones welcomed the cyclists back to the anniversary celebrations which included information stands from Hafal’s various services and partners as well as live music by local musician Colin Bell.

Tenby Resource Initiative (TRI) project co-ordinator/recovery practitioner Stephen Roberts said:

“On behalf of Hafal, and all the members and staff here at TRI, I would like to say a massive thank you to all the PCSOs who took part in this.

“It truly is an amazing gesture and just goes to show the strength of the partnership we have built up over the last few years with the local PCSO team. Thank you guys.”

The team have raised over £400 for their fantastic efforts – thank you guys!
