First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones visited Hafal’s stand at the National Eisteddfod in Anglesey today to lend his support to our work, and to our 2017 Forces for Change campaign.

The First Minister said: “It was good to meet team members from Hafal, an organisation working closely with the Welsh Government and groups across Wales to improve the lives of people with a mental illness and their carers.

“I was also pleased to learn more about the Forces for Change campaign. We owe our veterans a huge debt of gratitude and I welcome the vital work Hafal and its partners are doing to highlight the mental health issues they may face. I fully support the campaign in ensuring that veterans feel able to ask for help and have access to the support they need.”
