Professor Medwin Hughes DL, High Sheriff of Dyfed, has presented a certificate to Hafal Carmarthenshire at an event in the Halliwell Confernce Centre, Carmarthen. The award recognises and celebrates the contribution made by our projects across the Carmarthenshire area.

Professor Hughes, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, commended the contribution of Hafal Carmarthenshire and the other voluntary organisations honoured at the ceremony, saying: “So many people benefit from the unstinting work of those who give up their time to make a difference to their communities.

“Their actions are to be commended and I am delighted to present the Shrievalty Award to thank them for their commitment.”
