Today the All Together Now! Roadshow reached Swansea with a live music event at the heart of the city in Castle Square.
The event was attended by Suzy Davies AM, Dr Altaf Hussain AM and Lord Mayor of Swansea Councillor John Newbury.
Visitors took part in interactive music sessions and had the opportunity to learn about a range of local services and activities.
Angela Dickens, a service user and a carer, said: “For a large part of my life I have managed my illness by attending groups to combat isolation and loneliness.
“I realised socialising and mixing with people in a relaxed environment often helped me a lot. To make sure I attended groups I would always choose something that I was interested in such as arts and crafts classes as this gave me an incentive for going. I also attended confidence and self management groups at Hafal.
“My key tip for improving your social life is to face your fear, especially with social anxiety, as it really does get easier. Don’t give up!”
