Health and Social Services Minister Lesley Griffiths AM will celebrate World Mental Health Day with Members, staff and partners of the Welsh mental health charity Hafal in the Oriel Gallery of the Senedd on Tuesday October 11th.
Health and Social Services Minister Lesley Griffiths AM opened the Motiv8 day at Glyndwr University, Wrexham yesterday. The day, which is run for individuals, families and carers from North Wales who have experience of mental health problems, was designed to raise awareness of the close links between physical health and mental well-being.
Following on from its fantastic success at the Royal Welsh Show, “Taking the Wheel”, the service-user led campaign which aims to empower people with a serious mental illness in Wales to take control of their lives and the services they receive, is moving on to the Eisteddfod, which takes place in Wrexham and District, from July 30th – August 6th.
